 Grand Theft Auto Online is the ideal locati0n to blaze through the streets. The Rockstar Agents of Sabotage DLC permanently added more rewards to drag races and drift races. It also added more than a dozen brand new vehicles for testing for gta money.
 
 
 There are many variables yet two stand out: lap time and the top speed. The ten top-performing cars and motorcycles that are not rocket-powered (no boats, jets or aircraft!) will be listed below. on a straightaway and around many laps of a normal circuit on GTA Online based on the Cutting Coroners track. It's as simple as that. The lap times are not just numbers. They also take into account the ability to turn, brake and accelerate.
 
 
 This story has been updated as of January 2025, including December 10's brand-new Agents of Sabotage DLC. The brand-new DLC included a dozen new vehicles, including the Bravado Banshee GTS, Dinka Jester RR Widebody Karinchavos V6, Canis Terminus Patrol and Vapid Caracara Pursuit (both police officers) along with the Police Predator boat.
 
 
 The Expanded & Enhanced versions of the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X have access to Hao's Special Works, which is a unique mod shop in the Los Santos Car Meet (now available in the Vinewood Club Garage as of the Agents DLC). We're not going cover those HSW cars here, since they're only accessible on console and not on PC.
 
 
 One of the new DLC additions that is the Bravado Banshee GTS, is the new top-speed winner within GTA Online, though it's still being beaten by two motorcycles. GTA+ members were able to purchase it at no charge up until January 8, but it's now available at $1,989500 from Legendary Motorsport. It's also eligible for an HSW upgrade which is why these figures don't include it. The newest cars on this list aren't significantly faster than these winners.

We list the best of the best here. He's been testing GTA's range of speedy sportscars (and jets and motorcycles) over the last decade through his YouTube channel. You can view his fastest speed and lap times in the documents to get a sense of his test methodology. The website also contains detailed information on each car.
 
 
 The list is limited to "normal" vehicles and motorcycles, which are those that can be used for regular racing and don't receive any other external boosts besides the occasional nitrous. The speedy-but-unraceable submersible Pegassi Toreador, which would have been in the top 10, isn't included, for example.

 These lists will help you decide which car you need to race in a race that has numerous corners and one with long. The best car in one scenario doesn't suggest that you'll have the top in the next. For example, the 811 is nowhere to be seen in the list of lap times however, it is among the top 20 of top speeds.

 What kind of car should you purchase? There are a variety of situations which you could be in and will require the right vehicle for each.
 
 
 Muscle class races
 
 The Vapid Dominator GT has edged over the perennially popular Bravado Buffalo STX from a performance standpoint from a lap time perspective in the class of muscle. HSW cars truly beat the rest of the pack in this class, but they're not available on PC.
 
 
 Street races of the Tuner
 
 Street races can only be held only in the "Tuner" class. This includes some automobiles that belong to the Los Santos Tuners, DLC, that fall into different categories (Sports Muscle, Sports, etc.) but are also capable of racing with. There are three main competitors here if you want to compete:

 Vectre
 
 Calico GTF
 
 The Growler RR and Jester RR are in 4th and fifth places respectively for Tuner races, but they're a bit off the top three which are separated by about two tenths a second.
 
 
 With the Vectre with the highest performance in cornering and the Calico boasting the best acceleration and the Sultan being the best all-rounder it's your personal preferences which one you pick. It is important to keep in mind that some tracks are more suitable for the particular car. However, choosing any of the three will guarantee you stay on the cutting edge.
