A few months ago we experienced a tsunami where $16.7 billion was spent on campaign ads in the 2022 US elections. Over half of that was negative messages meant to increase anger, paranoia, suspicions. Goal achieved. The after effects will last for months, maybe years. They are part of the American political psyche....
