Every year here in North Alabama, volunteers and their families/friends are needed to help local veteran organizations in placing flags at Veteran gravesites on the Saturday before and the Saturday after Memorial Day.

The VSOs provide the US flags and just need volunteers to help during these rain or shine events.

Below are the general details for the three separate locations in need. More details are in the attached PDF.

Maple Hill Cemetery
Placement: 17 May, 9 a.m.
Pickup: 31 May, 9 a.m.

Also, on Memorial Day, May 26th at 1100, there will be a Memorial Day observance and wreath laying at the Huntsville-Madison County Veterans Park at 1100. Our Chapter's Chaplain will be placing the NSA-H wreath with other veteran organizations. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please see press release and flyer for more details.
