I love to teach techniques and provide the tools that allow the individual to select the path that gets them to the final destination. To me, the world is exciting precisely because of its infinite variety and complexity. Taking psychological ownership for anything I commit to, and I always feel emotionally bound to follow it through to completion. Instinctively, I am driven to always deliver fully, yet never commit to a finite end-state and leave room for evolution. I have been told by my peers that I have a distinct way of thinking and a special perspective on the world at large that can't be taught. By nature, I am always seeking to learn different ways to view a problem set and then compile knowledge for future solutions.
When tasked with teaching others to solve problems, I first strive to understand their thoughts and perspectives and then challenge them to describe the path that ultimately led them to that solution. Always thinking, I play out alternative scenarios, always asking, "What if we go this way or what if this happened?" This recurring question helps you see around the next corner. I love to teach through example, so others can learn the meaning of commitment and how to apply it to the team's overall goals.
